Nasir Durrani

Nasir Durrani is the Head Coach and founder of Revolution Cricket Academy, bringing the experience and passion of a USA National Team player to the next generation of cricketers. With nearly seven years of coaching experience, Nasir is an ICC Level 1 certified coach who has also served as coach for the Atlantic Region U19 team.

His coaching philosophy centers on player development at every level — nurturing not only technical skill but also discipline, teamwork and love for the game. His approach blends high-performance training with mentorship, helping young athletes unlock their potential on and off the field.

Known for his community-driven leadership, Nasir is dedicated to growing cricket across the United States by creating pathways for youth to learn, compete and excel.

Omar AbdulRahimzai

• Multiple championship titles as player and captain
• Active across local and national leagues

Coach Omar is very active in the cricket community and is still considered one of the best players not only in local leagues but across the country.

He has won many championships as a player and as a captain, and now devotes that experience to coaching the next generation. Omar believes in empowering every student-athlete with the right skill set to be successful on the field.

Dr. Nail Miakhail

• President, Washington Cricket League
• President, Afghan Cricket Club
• Years of playing and management experience

Dr. Nail Miakhail is a well recognized name in the cricket playing community. He currently serves as president of one of the biggest cricket leagues in the country — the Washington Cricket League — and is also president of the Afghan Cricket Club.

He brings years of playing and management experience to Revolution Cricket Academy. An enthusiast of the sport, Dr. Nail is passionate about leading and coaching the next generation of cricketers to be successful on and off the field.

Coach Miro is a well recognized name in the cricket playing community and is regarded as one of the best fielders and wicket keepers in the area.

He is now on a mission to train the next generation of athletes and cricketers, bringing an obsessive standard for footwork, glove work and fitness to every session.
