Why we exist
Cricket, made welcoming
Revolution Cricket Academy was founded in Sterling, Virginia by Nasir Durrani — a USA National Team player who wanted young people in Northern Virginia to have the club he never had growing up nearby. The academy trains children aged 5 to 19, from a first soft-ball session to serious regional and national pathway preparation.
Cricket is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States, and Loudoun County is one of its centres. Plenty of our families come from cricketing countries; plenty have never watched a match. Both are welcome, and both start the same way — a free trial session with equipment supplied.
Training happens indoors year-round at The Sports Club at Dulles on three purpose-built cricket lanes, so a Virginia winter or a rained-out Saturday never costs a session. Teams then take that work outdoors into local youth tournaments and league fixtures.

One club, two doors in
A five-year-old who has never held a bat and a fifteen-year-old chasing an academy place need very different sessions. We run both — the same coaches, the same standards, four separate tiers. Players move up when they are ready, not when a birthday says so.
