Coach Nasir Durrani – Head Coach
Nasir Durrani is the Head Coach and founder of Revolution Cricket Academy, bringing the experience and passion of a USA National Team player to the next generation of cricketers. With nearly seven years of coaching experience, Nasir is an ICC Level 1 certified coach who has also served as coach for the Atlantic Region U19 team.
Nasir’s coaching philosophy centers on player development at every level — nurturing not only technical skill but also discipline, teamwork, and love for the game. His approach blends high-performance training with mentorship, helping young athletes unlock their potential on and off the field.
Known for his community-driven leadership, Nasir is dedicated to growing the sport of cricket across the United States by creating pathways for youth to learn, compete, and excel. His mission is to build confident, well-rounded players who embody sportsmanship, resilience, and respect.
Areas of Focus: Team management, youth empowerment, youth fitness, technical skills development related to bowling and batting
Coach Omar AbdulRahimzai
Coach Omar is very active in the cricket community and still considered one of the best playersa not only in local leagues but all over the country. Coach Omar has won many championships as a player and as a captain, and is now very active in coaching the next generation of cricket players. Coach Omar believes in empowering each and every one of his student-athletes with the right skill set to be successful on the field.
Areas of Focus: Technical skills development (batting, bowling, fielding), leadership, game strategy
Coach Nail MiaKhel
Coach Dr. Nail Miakhail is well recognized name in the cricket playing community. He currently serves as the president of one of the biggest cricket leagues in the country – Washington Cricket League (WCL) – and is also the president of Afghan Cricket Club. He brings years of cricket playing and management experience to Revolution Cricket Academy. An enthusiast of the sport, Dr. Nail is passionate about leading and coaching the next generation of cricket to be successful on and off the field.
Areas of Focus: Teamwork, discipline, developing technical and tactical batting skills
Coach Miro
Coach Miro is a well recognized name in the cricket playing community. He is regarded as one of the best fielders and wicket keepers in the area. Coach Miro is now on a mission to train the next generation of athletes and cricketers.
