What if I don’t know anything about cricket?
No problem! Most of the player athletes started with no cricket playing experience. For more information, read our ‘New to Cricket’ section below.
I am scared to play hard-ball cricket.
At RCA, we understand that. All of our coaches started their cricket at a young age playing tennis/tap ball cricket. We work with each player to gain confidence and use specific drills to transition players who are ready to play hard-ball cricket.
Would I be able to join a team and participate in a tournament/league?
Yes. Ultimately we want each and every player to participate and playing organized matches. We think that there is additional learning that takes place when players play matches. We will work with you to place you in one of our teams at the level that you feel confident in.
I want to work on a particular skill that I think I need to work more on. Can I do that at RCA?
Yes. We have coaches that are eager to transfer their knowledge and are well versed in all areas of cricket.
Can I just use RCA’s facility to practice or have my own team practice at the facility?
Yes. Please reach out to us and we will make sure that you and your team are provided with high-quality equipment and facility space to enjoy the sport of cricket.
